Questions
Who is Wattledesk for?
Small Australian allied health clinics (occupational therapy, speech pathology, psychology and physiotherapy, roughly 3 to 10 clinicians) with a large share of NDIS work, running Cliniko. Nookal is next. Brisbane and South East Queensland first, then national.
What does Wattledesk actually do?
It sets up and runs automation inside the clinic's own practice software: referral letters, faxes and emails into Cliniko with the intake form and booking link sent; NDIS sessions mapped to the right line items and listed before the 90-day claim limit; invoice problems flagged before they reach a plan manager.
Does software submit NDIS claims or change invoices?
No. Software drafts and checks; a person at the clinic reviews and submits every claim, and no invoice is created or changed by software. Patients only receive message templates the clinic has approved.
How is it priced?
Fixed scope and fixed price: a one-off set-up fee and a monthly fee per offer, in AUD. Never hourly, and never a percentage of what's recovered.
What is the NDIS 90-day claim limit?
From 1 December 2026, supports under a participant's plan must be claimed within 90 days, down from 2 years (Department of Health, Disability and Ageing, information for NDIS providers, July 2026).
Where is the data kept?
Everything Wattledesk hosts runs in Australia (Sydney), including the AI. The free leak check runs entirely in the clinic's browser; nothing is uploaded.
How do I get started?
Try the free leak check on your own Cliniko exports, or fill in the two-minute form on the site. Replies come by email; there's no sales call unless you ask for one.
